Dr. John Schellenberg Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, Doctor of Chiropractic
I was born in late January, 1971, in a quaint little town called Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, located 9 miles from Niagara Falls, Canada. When not in practice, I am usually hanging out with my wife, Barb and our daughter, Ceydee. When I get some alone time, I enjoy golfing and escaping for awhile at the movie theater. I love cooking & enjoy creating healthy meals but I really don’t care for washing the dishes! I earned my bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, and then graduated with my doctorate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in May of 1999. After 4-1/2 years in practice, I sold my practice, moved to Fargo, ND and joined my wife's practice. We sold that practice and moved to Chandler, AZ in October of 2006 with our daughter, Ceydee. We relocated to Scottsdale in September of 2009 where we currently reside.I love living and practicing in the Phoenix Valley. Since opening my first office in July 2007, I have attracted patients from Tucson to Prescott to Lake Havasu and everywhere in between. In an effort to meet the needs of so many people, I have had to expand. In addition to my South Valley office which is located within Insight Eyecare and Eyewear in South Chandler, I also have a home based office in the North Valley and a central location in South Scottsdale where I work with the Bluestone Chiropractic Group. My interests in healing are very broad based. I enjoy meeting people where they are at and then help them expand their thinking about health. From personal injury cases where people have been involved in auto accidents, to mysterious cases where no doctors have been able to figure out what is going on, I have training that can help.
